The research for this project consisted of doing case studies on commercial buildings local to Stellenbosch. The inspiration gained from this research can be seen in the small Cape Dutch elements incorporated around the space, such as the materials and the style of the building, however with a modern twist to help incorporate the PG Bison materials. I sought to incorporate them in creative ways. such as in the ceiling and ceiling beams, as well as the traditional furniture and cabinetry.
