Sealand are devoted to using sustainable materials like Econyl, recycled yacht sail, and ripstop, and often incorporate recycled materials and objects into their stores. Because of this, I wanted to explore Sealand’s approach to their concept, rather than the concept itself. This lead to me using sustainable materials such as recycled chipboard, recycled terazzo flooring, reclaimed glass lighting, and most notably SAVEBoard, which is a material made from recycled tetra pak.
